Brady | Alleged breach of contract

The case

Upon the purchase of Company B by Company CP, CP contractually agreed to purchase an agreed amount of supplies from the previous owners of B, for an agreed length of time.

B’s previous owners alleged that CP had not done so, and Bartfields were instructed to consider whether or not CP had fulfilled the requirements of the contract.

The outcome

Bartfields established that CP had fulfilled some of the requirements of the contract but not others, and calculated the amount owing to the previous owners of B under the terms of the agreement.
